Dear Parents
Warm greetings and best wishes for Dussera, Diwali, Id, Christmas and the English New Year 2020. With your active and patronizing support St. Marys Secondary  School has so far traversed a span of  eight years . This year, thanks to one and all, our school has been upgraded to an HS school where all the three faculties, viz. Humanities, Commerce and Science are offered to the students. 

Here we are committed to the development of that bent of mind, that attitude of reason, that spirit of democracy which will make global citizens.  We have created an education system that would develop within the child the full range of human capacities – intellectual, social, physical and spiritual; an education that would instill a thirst for knowledge and foster a desire for excellence.  

Let your children be showered with rays of illumination by our competent and dedicated band of teachers as well as through the untiring care of academic support staff.

Dear Parents, 
I would like to thank each one of you for your patronizing approach resulting in the upgradation of our school to a Higher Secondary school. We have all the three streams available with a professional, talented and dedicated team of expert teachers. 

We strongly believe that the process of learning (and teaching) is socially constructed since “teachers” and “learners” develop, communicate, and negotiate objectives, knowledge and skills cooperatively together. We are committed to provide that environment to all our learners which will contribute to prepare students for both school and adulthood. 

We promise to deliver quality education with an emphasis on a deep rooted value system. We want our students’ learning to be enduring, enabling them to make sense of complexity now and in the future. 

This multi-faceted learning-teaching approach allows children to understand and inculcate values completely and apply them to real-life situations. The school’s active and dynamic learning environment provides children with a wholesome education experience.

In forthcoming years, our focus will be on increasing our level of responsibility and accountability both for our students and teachers. Our effort will be to develop intrinsic motivation in students, move to more and more students led activities by which we can promote internal locus of control without needing constant push and pull from adults.
